Artist - Adrian Sauers

Adrian Sauers, a Pennsylvania native, has shown interest in the visual arts from the beginning of his education. At a young age he received private training from Jeff Hemler, a Syracuse University BFA graduate and part-time portrait artist from Hanover, PA. In high school Adrian was the president of Delone Catholic High School's National Art Honors Society and was involved in various student exhibitions and charity events involving the arts. In 2003 he was recognized nationally for his painting through the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. He also received a supplies grant from Golden Acrylic Co. for the painting he submitted to the previously mentioned competition. Adrian furthered his education at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where he received his BFA in Painting in May of 2007, studying under the highly recognized watercolorist Matthew Daub. In addition to showing his work in various student exhibitions, Adrian has shown his watercolors in local and regional galleries in south central Pennsylvania. This group show is Adrian's first out-of-state exhibition.
